If you have any moderate computer experience, I would say the setup process isn't bad at all if you have the right cable (and computer/smartphone) and take the time to read about it ahead of time. You never expose your private keys at any point in the process, only your 12 mnemonic word phrase. Even then phrase words only show up on the Trezor not the host PC/Smartphone. I love the fact that you can create secret words/codes in the wallet to create more hidden wallets. If anyone steals your secret phrase words and/or your pin to gain access to the device, they would also have to know the secrets to access your hidden wallets. With the Model T, you never expose this information to the host device so keyloggers can will not be able to see that information on setup and access. The only thing annoying about this whole process is that the Model T needs to be powered by a host device in order to do anything, it has no battery power.
Completing transactions on the Trezor isn't hard but it certainly isn't as easy as using a smartphone-based wallet but I wouldn't expect it to be, you would use a smartphone wallet for daily purchases and your Trezor for holding your vast amount of coins. Most DEXes will be compatible with Trezor through the virtue of also being compatible with MetaMask. You can import NFTs but you cannot send them or sign off on most contract-based transactions because the Trezor team does not currently believe in developing that into Trezor. On one hand, I understand that because the Trezor is supposed to be secure in holding your coins and not a daily driver for transactions. On the other, I know some people think of NFTs as long-term investments.
Although the Trezor Wallet and Suite only support a smaller number of coins/tokens than the competing hardware wallets, being able to connect to third-party wallets allows you access to an almost unlimited amount of coins/tokens than any of the air-gapped or cold storage competition. As I mentioned before, you can access most DEX swap markets with the support of MetaMask. Beyond that, most new coins and tokens that are worth their time have PC-Based hot wallets that are based on something like Electrum, one of the original wallets for Bitcoin from basically a decade ago. Electrum has come a long way and part of their privacy/security measures is integration with hardware wallets like Trezor so you never expose your private keys or make new secret phrases because it already relies on your Trezor to store that information. Something like Monero, it doesn't exist on the Trezor Suite and they have their own Electrum wallet, so all you have to do to store Monero on Trezor is to load up Monero's Electrum wallet and use the Trezor for setup. If you can accomplish this, there are very few legitimate coins and tokens that won't be able to work for you.
Anyway, to sum up my feelings on the Trezor Model T: I love the functionality, but it's too expensive for the single device. I'll still continue to use the Trezor wallet in the future but through the functionality of the Raspberry Pi Zero and possibly the Raspberry Pi 4 as the host terminal for the Trezor Suite and Electrum wallets. The next step would be to add a printer to the Pi 4 to print off wallet QR codes and other things since the Trezor Requires a host to function.
Attention!! Urgent message. My bad!. I take 80% responsibility for my device not working. I learned through the seller (who, by the way, was excellent at responding to my issue.) They offered me a full refund upon them receiving my returned item. I decided to do what I was afraid to before and force the cable connection on. It when in! and product worked perfectly afterwards. I think it would good if they mentioned that in the instructions. It's a very tight fit so don't be afraid to force it in. Mission accomplished and all is well. I like my Trezor now!
Also check you hologram before you rip it off. That step is out of sequence and should be first.

Can you believe that this thing does NOT support some of the most promising coins: Solana, Polkadot, BNB, Terra Luna, Avalanche, Kusama, Cosmos and many others? I am talking Top 20 names with serious fundamentals.
Apparently Trezor's founder is a Bitcoin Maxi who doesn't like ''centralised'' coins with CEOs etc, yet XRP - the most centralised and cult-based coin out there - is somehow supported when Solana or Polkadot are not.
Don't make the same mistake i did and purchase this wallet if you want to store theses coins offline, because you won't be able to. At least not according to the foreseeable future, that's what they themselves repeatedly posted in Twitter, in Reddit and other online forums: ''Satoshilabs are not planning to add any new coins any time soon''. Go figure???
I mean, if you produce this hardware wallet, the main thing you'd want is to keep up to date will all the new coins & tokens and add support for your users!!! Seriously SatoshiLabs? Get a grip!
I will probably be selling this. What a joke for £175!!
