This Parrot drone is excellent for my needs and future needs. The picture quality is stellar and I can’t wait to use some of my images in videos. The drone itself is intuitive and I could launch it with ease. I wish it had a sensor to detect close items to avoid contact, but it does not and I got it caught in tree limbs. Three propellers were damaged in the process-that was disappointing that in less than an hour I damaged the drone. It flew in a crazy pattern as though it was attempting to take off but spin off-kilter, swaying side-to-side and up and down. Fixed the drone by replacing the propellers that came with the unit and it flies fine, again. I purchased new propellers, but caution others to stick with those from the manufacturer or equivalent-some less expensive propellers are available but customers complain their quality is reduced.
The battery life, though not the best is the best for now and it allows time to do what I need it to do. I’m concerned that this drone is so lightweight that it will fly off with a gust of wind, but so far, it stays in sight and I have not flown it higher than about 30 feet-flying this drone requires permission in any flight zones. Owning one can be restrictive when it comes to when you can fly it-even for fun. If you plan to fly this drone for profit, you have to get licensed.
The fact that you get the controller to hold your cellphone, extra propellers, and two batteries is awesome based on the cost of the drone! A drawback is the SD holder slot. My SD holder broke while removing the SD card from the slot. I had to figure how to reinstall it. I read this SD holder slot is a defect in the drone, and I ordered a two-pack SD holder, so if this breaks again, I will have spares.
Overall, I am happy I purchased this drone and I would recommend making this purchase, if you are riding the fence. The image quality you get from this drone will win, in my opinion.

Drone is decent customer service is not.

I’m just going to give a quick opinion and leave it at that.Pros: Quiet compared to most drones Zoom is a nice benefit Moves at a decent speed in sport mode No limitations when it comes to where you can fly your drone (good for when you just need to get that perfect shot) 180° Gimbal is awesome.Cons: WiFi signal is garbage unless you’re not around anything. The drone loves to drift off if there’s a slight wind or your signal is crap. The back legs started to split after about 10 flights.Not good enough to be in the cons section:The customer service = non existentProbably the only reason I’m writing this review.Their phone lines have been down sense I’ve had the drone (hold on let me try again.....yep still down) and I guess they don’t know how to respond to emails either. Arrived with broken vertical camera and wont fly lol

When I press the "hand take off" button or the "take off" button as shown in the instructions and tutorials, the device doesn't even fly, the blades don't spin, and the app says the vertical camera has some sort of failure. Really frustrating that this product is supposed to be renewed by some supposed team of experts but clearly they are doing the bare minimum. I have a flight to Europe soon and I wanted to have a drone for my trip for some cool shots and now I don't even know if they'll be able to replace this unit in time. Really lame, come on guys you can do better than this.
