- ADATA Expands Into New Territory With XPG Xenia Gaming Laptop
The high-performance gaming laptop market is getting another contender. ADATA, a Taiwanese memory and storage manufacturer, is launching launched its first gaming laptop.
ADATA is best known for hard drives, RAM, and USBs. Under its XPG brand, the company is putting forward its first products for gamers.
In addition to the laptop, the company is introducing a monitor and a mini-PC. The products will be unveiled at CES 2020, January 7-10 in Las Vegas.
The 15.6’’ gaming notebook, dubbed the XPG Xenia 15, features a Full HD IPS display, 9th generation Intel Core processor and ADATA’s proprietary SX8200 Pro M.2 SSD hard drive.
CES 2020 will offer visitors an opportunity to test the mini-PC, the XPG GAIA. XPG revealed that the product will feature a 5-liter chassis, swappable PCI slot that’s able to host a card up to 8 inches in size, and a 500-watt 80 Plus power supply.
Finally, we have the XPG Photon 27-inch monitor. According to XPG, the monitor is the first to have Eye-Safe display technology, which is meant to reduce eye-strain during night gaming. It removes harmful blue light the screen emits without sacrificing visual quality, the company says.
XPG will also showcase a new full tower chassis, new SSDs, and additional gaming accessories.
