Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

First of all, it arrived late. It was supposed to arrive by May18th, but I got an email saying it's delayed, and I received it yesterday. (19th)
This item was described as unlocked, but it's not, it's literally an AT&T phone with all their bloatware and useless junks preinstalled on the phone. But since I'm not using it with AT&T but with a reseller, most of the AT&T apps do not function as they're supposed to. I ended up spending an entire day updating and removing the apps I don't want. That was yesterday, whole day.
I've read somewhere the phone will update to android 9, but AT&T will only update it to android 8. So I did some research, and only the Korean version of the LG V20 made for their AT&T network will update to android 9. If you're in the US, you're stuck with android 8, and because the LG smartphone division has closed down, there will be no more security updates either.
The only reason I bought the phone is because of the removable battery, and it also has electronic image stabilization for videos and optical stabilization for photos. I haven't tried it out in the living situation, so I don't know how well that functions.
Somewhat disappointed with the purchase, but I'm planning to use it to see if the charging issue with the port or the battery also arise with my phone. If it does within the next month, I plan on returning it for a refund and get a different phone.
The only thing that sucks about it is the fact that it is an AT&T phone and you absolutely cannot do any kind of system update without an AT&T SIM card. It is stuck at Android 7 without a SIM card.
This phone is not unlocked as advertised. This is an at&t phone, with all of the non-removable at&t bloatware that comes with it. You have been warned, because the seller won't help you out.
Moving onto the phone.
The screen is beautiful. Bigger than I expected, and I think I may have given it a light scrape within the first 48 hours of owning it, but the resolution is great. My advice, buy a screen protector.
And that brings me to a con. While the phone is pretty, it *feels* fragile. My case didn't come in until 2 days after I got the phone, and I felt like that could have been an issue. Now that the case is on, I feel much more relieved, but be advised that you're going to want a case on the phone.
The sound quality is great, and has a high definition sound feature that I haven't tried out yet.
Battery should last you all day - I'm kind of a power user, and listen to podcasts/music during my workday, and it still lasts me until after dinner. My old phone had a failing battery that needed to be charged twice a day, so this is a major improvement.
I bought the phone specifically because I was looking for a phone with an AMAZING camera that didn't break the bank, and that's what I got. The camera quality is pristine and comes with a ton of options, making it feel like a quality piece of hardware.
The fingerprint sensor is always my biggest concern in a phone, and I've never been keen on using it. I tried it for this phone, and am not disappointed. It doesn't work 100% of the time, but for the most part I would consider it reliable.
The interface is smooth, and the phone hasn't gotten hot while playing games yet, which is nice.
Overall - buy the phone. If it was in your top 3, go for it and you won't be disappointed.
I listen to Amazon Prime Music quite often. The audio jack is loose, apparently a known problem with the LGV20.
But....the camera on this phone is AWESOME. I am no professional photographer, and like most people, my phone is cluttered with animal pictures. I really like the bigger screen. I now have to go back to my Samsung J3 and it's so little.
I knew I needed to return this phone, but thought I would give it one more chance. I reset it back to factory on Thursday (Dec 7). Today is December 9, and I am writing this review. I just printed my return label. I doubt I'm going to find another one of these phones as Amazon is out of stock. Really disappointed. I should love my phone for $320, not be writing a review that I WANT to love my phone.
