I love my JBL Clip 2 speaker and use it all the time. As someone who gets around (or more accurately, got around pre-COVID) often by bike in an urban environment, this is easy to clip right onto the front of my backpack and not only provides me with some good tunes while going from point A to point B, also helps to let others know that I am coming rather than sneaking up on unaware pedestrians who might not be looking before stepping into the bike lane (it’s saved me on multiple occasions, especially with tourists who aren’t used to navigating a city). It’s also great to bring on random outings, or to have with me as I move from room to room around the house or while cooking dinner, etc.

The only thing I would change is for the max sound level to be a little higher (but really only a notch or two would suffice for my purposes). It’s fine for the most part, but this won’t provide the amount of volume needed for a boisterous post-pandemic dinner party or large group get together. Perfect though for hanging out on the porch with some friends and listening to some background music, and it's not going to be too loud to bother neighbors.

Easy to charge, easy to use, durable, and so on. Well worth the money!

I love the speaker like it was one of my children Haha for something so small, it was extremely loud. It has a good amount of bass in it, and can be heard over a huge crowd. I love that it has a clip, because it makes it easier to stick in different places, or hang up high where the sound can be projected more. I used it for my preschool classroom and it projected wonderful!

I have had this speaker now for 4yrs and it’s just like the first day I bought it. HIGHLY recommend!

Great speaker for the price. I wish there was a little more bass, but it probably wouldn't be possible based on the size and price. At least the bass that is present isn't distorted. The bass and highs sound very good, but the mids might be a little low, but again the speaker sounds really good. The speaker is loud enough for a small room, but wouldn't fill up a large room. The speaker is definitely beautiful and the clip is nice and sturdy. The material it is made out of feels nice to the touch and seems to be high quality.

One thing to note, this may be different than some Bluetooth headphones you may be used to regarding the built-in audio cord/cable. The Sony Bluetooth headphones I have are not required to be turned on or connected via Bluetooth to anything if I have an audio cable plugged in to them directly. That is not the case with this speaker though. Even if I have the speaker connected via the audio cable to an MP3 player, it must be turned on and it will automatically pair/connect with your phone. This can be annoying if you are using a separate MP3 player and a phone call comes in to your phone which was previously paired to the speaker. Not a deal breaker, but something to make note of.

This speaker is AMAZING! It's compact, has great battery life, and is loud! I use it in the shower and even tested it in a bowl of water, and it still works totally fine. The clip is very useful for when I want to clip it to one of my drawers while I'm doing chores. I've also used it on walks where I clip it to my key chain around my neck. The only con I can say is that of course for it's size, you're not getting thumpy or heavy bass, so if you're a bass head, then this speaker might not be for you. On the flip side, the sound quality is clear and crisp, with no distortion as high volumes. I also bought a case for the speaker to keep it protected. The speaker also comes with an auxiliary cable wrapped around it if you want to use it for older mp3 players. Overall, I'd say JBL knows what they're doing when it comes to sound quality. I can only imagine what the JBL Clip 3 would sound like!

In fact, I now keep one in my office all the time for biz calls that happen to come to my iPhone, works great. Bought one for each of my adult children and their cousins. Had to replace mine after extended use since the battery would no longer hold an extended charge but that was after nearly a year of almost daily use, so the value-to-time-used was totally worth it.

I use this speaker daily, mainly for podcasts.
This thing is super durable, it's been months and it's always on one of my belt loops.

When I first got it I found that the sound was clear and could go loud.
The bass however is lacking a little, so not much of a thump.
I have other speakers this size that have a little more bass but less clarity.

The clarity is great for voices, I never miss anything said anymore, which means less rewinding.
Bluetooth works great especially when fully charged.

I like the attached aux cable.
I never thought I'd get any use out of it but have plugged in friends devices occasionally so it does come in handy.

Also is water proof, I use it in the shower and on a few kayak trips.

Speaker is so portable/convenient/holds a charge well and the carribeaner is so underatedly handy.

Here is what I DONT like about it. 1) for a while the bluetooth would only connect to my phone and wouldn't show up for other people's phones, or would appear but wouldn't connect. Thankfully there is the back-up aux cord! This problem seemed to have sorted itself out because now anyone can connect. But for a good 2-3 months I was puzzled! 2) the front speaker cover is removeable for cleaning etc.. but the brackets that hold it in place for popping in/out kind of broke and now my speaker cover is barely holding on, or if it bumps anything while attached by the carribeaner the cover falls of and I have accidentally lost it in hostels etc traveling and luckily found it retracing my steps! 3) not very loud if you want to listen to it outside and it is windy, or you are near running water, or a lot of people. Nice that my best friend had the same one and we paired them together to make double volume. All in all the good outweighs the bad tho, it has been so ridiculously convenient to travel with this little guy and use around my home, on hikes, and recreating.
