I have a Google Pixel 5a – an Android. Previously had Fitbits and my last was a Samsung S3 Frontier – which I can't find, so I got this one. I am a moderate exerciser. I track basic info.
I chose this one because it has most of the features I used on my Frontier. I went thru the phase of different screen faces, apps, games with it. It didn’t last long and ended up with a basic face and the basic things that were on the watch. It is not a smart watch.

Does not pick up steps if pushing a cart - I would assume the same for a stroller.

A few words about the Huawei health app. I like it, coming from Samsung Health. Everything is ready to find. There was so much on the Samsung app, this is simple. No forum, work out . You can share info. Basic and ask info right there. Think about that part.

Quite excited to receive my Watch Fit. Downloaded the Health App. Tried to pair the device to my Samsung phone using the recommended Health App. Ooops...the Health App does NOT list the Watch Fit as a pairable device ...even after "updating"....so no way to pair it. WTF?! Health App shows a link to Huawei tech suport...so I tried it...Verizon reports "party is not answering at this time"...so cannot connect to get help. WTF??!! Looked on-line for FAQs....none mention that the watch will not pair with the Health App. WTF??!! Searched for tech support or a chat possibility...there is none....WTF!!?? and on and on...........WAIT...after thrashing for about an hour...all of a sudden, the app decided to show Watch Fit and that is is, in fact, pairable Health App....so maybe it will actually work...but why does the process have to be so problematic....so I guess the lesson is keep thrashing...it may work out in the end....but don't expect a smooth process.

Update10/15/2021: After the above problematic thrash, the Health App finally started to work and showed the Watch Fit as pairable. Also, I located a pdf manual for the Fit Watch on-line which clarifies many mysteries.....but there was no link in the Health app, from Amazon, or in the instructions with the watch. link here - but must click on the drop down watch box - you want the "User Guide": https://consumer.huawei.com/en/support/wearables/watch-fit/
So the user is really left on his/her own. That said, now that the watch is operating, it is amazing. So am changing this review to 4 stars (with 1 being deducted for making the set-up far more problematic than it needed to be).

I have enjoyed great products from Huawei in the past, and this smartwatch did not disappoint. Easy to configure, easy to use, and a ton of great features.

I am now more aware on how I sleep, get my reminders as I wanted and expected to, and see metrics for stress and oxigenation on a daily basis. I appreciate the breathing exercises, and the sports logging is superb, I am a weekend cyclist.

Where things come apart is at the time of the data transfer. The watch is not detected as a bluetooth device by the OS (Android). I cannot use it to unblock my cell when it is around my watch. I cannot use it as a sensor in Strava, or to transfer the data gathered during a cycle ride to Strava either.

Mind you, is technically feasible. Matter of configuring a Huawei ID account and get the data transferred into the cloud, then via other app translate into Strava and import the data then. But you CANNOT do that if you are in the US. Apparently the row over G5 and other products affects smartwatches as well.

I love the watch and will keep it, I just hope there were alternatives for those of us here.

Changing my initial rating to 5. The product was almost a week late as it was lost in transit. (Not the fault of the seller). At any rate, the watch works great and is accurate with step counts. (Using separate devices to test) Battery life is good. Haven't charged it in days and is only at 50%. I'm using continuous heart rate and sleep monitoring. Seems good so far. My main dislike is that Im not sure how to link it to Google fit or if it is even possible.

PROS:
El reloj cumple con todas y cada una de las cosas que promete al pie de la letra, es tan bueno como dicen en las reseñas y sobre todo a un precio accesible.
-El materia se ve muy premium, la correa es de buena calidad, mi brazo es muy delgado y ajusta perfectamente.
-La pantalla se ve perfectamente incluso en condiciones en las que da el sol muy fuerte
-Todas y cada una de las mediciones que tiene son muy precisas, aunque debo decir que no utilizo todas.
-Las notificaciones se ven completas así sean mensajes largos los puedes leer, menos los emoticones y stickers.
-Es muy fácil de usar y muy intuitivo.
-Carga MUY rápido, me pareció sorprendente que en menos de 1 hora ya lo tenía al 100.

CONTRAS:
La verdad los contras son pocos y no afectan mucho en la experiencia, son cosas completamente personales y que me gustarían que mejoraran en un futuro.
-No tiene sonido, me gustaría que sonara cuando me llegue notificaciones.
-Quería usarlo como alarma pero la vibración no es muy fuerte como para despertarme pero si lo suficiente como para avisarte de las notificaciones.
-Las esferas son buenas y tiene variedad pero me gustaría que hubiera animadas como en otros relojes o bandas.

Awesomely product high quality not chunky etc. Nothing to say about it for Android users. But on the other hand for iPhone users the watch is not compatible. Absolutely it is not compatible. Notifications are not easy to control. And it is absolutely impossible to control music from your watch. I am not talking about controlling Apple Music or having Spotify application on your watch. It is not possible to control the media which is already playing on your phone cannot be controlled because the menu to control the music doesn’t show up when you are connected to iPhone. I returned this item and went for Apple Watch SE instead. Apple Watch is double the price I know but at least it is working. I also bought Samsung smart bands and xiaomi smart band. Unfortunately if you are an iPhone user there is not much choice for you. Go for Apple Watch with all the cons but the only pro is enough to use Apple Watch which is being compatible with iPhone

This is my first smartwatch. I will not be able to compare it to the other smartwatches which are available at a similar price point.

However below is my review of using the watch for almost a week-

Cons:
• If the watch gets disconnected from my phone, it sometimes does not auto re-connect when the device is back in range. (experiencing this issue ~40% of the times)
• Many times, the weather statistics do not regularly update even when phone is connected to the watch with phone’s GPS and Wi-Fi ON.
• In the custom watch face setup, option should be provided to add maybe a few widgets for example at least Heart Rate, Step Count and weather. Currently on custom watch face, only time can be displayed. At the price tag of INR 7490 this watch feels more of a fitness band with GPS and bigger display.
• The 4gb memory is not of any use to the user. It might be used to store the watch faces that we download and for firmware update probably.
• No speaker. It would have been better if for alarm/timers and stuff, the watch provided some beeping sounds along with the vibration.
• If the watch has an in-built GPS, then why not provide a sensor for temperature as well. Even for weather it should automatically show the updated weather in a region as per the GPS without relying on the smartphone itself.

Pros:
• AMOLED display: The display looks very sharp and most of the watch faces look amazing on it. Overall, it is very nice to look at.
• Battery life is decent. I charged it to 100% on Thursday afternoon and by Monday afternoon it was at 40%. Giving approximately 6.5 days of battery backup with continuous heart rate, tru-sleep and continuous stress monitoring set to active.
Note: As it was only the first week for me using this watch, I tried many different watch faces, updated
firmware twice, tried and tested different features on the watch. So, in the coming days the battery
backup is expected to be better.
• Accuracy of sensors is good. The step counter is very accurate. Heart rate and SPO2 readings seem accurate as well.
• Sleep tracker works perfectly. Nap/Day sleep tracking is also available.
• Workout animations come in handy. There are a lot of animations in this watch.
• The UI and touch sensitivity is very good. I haven’t seen the watch lag or become slow at any point in time.
• Super comfortable and light weight. Does not feel like a rock strapped on to my wrist.

13/04/2022: Watch is still performing as if brand new. Software is well optimized, no lag experienced. I downloaded the latest Huawei Health app via a third party website. It has many free watch faces available and new ones are getting added every week or so. Battery lasts almost 10.5 days (which is a bit more than what I had noted in the first week of usage)
