Great photo printer, a few caveats though...

I loved this printer, and I struggled to not give it five stars. Let me elaborate. I got this printer to do my family album. Printing with this one, costs me about 0.44$, on the spot. Printing with some of the online retailers, it cost me about 0.11$ plus shipping (unless ordering 30+$), and I have to wait to get the finish product.Setting it up was easy (there is video proof), running it was a breeze, the prints were awesome, shouldn't have any complaints. I got a few. My main complain is the top and bottom edge of the pictures. When you finish printing, you have to tear the top and bottom. This leaves a rough finish on those edges that although barely noticeable, triggers my OCD.Other thoughts:The display for this printer is your phone, thus make sure your phone can handle the app before you buy. Also, this one has a neat feature were you can see the which print is coming when aiming your phone camera at the printing picture and short videos embedded in your live pictures. To me this is just a gimmick but I can see how some people would find it too cool and thus I pointed it out.

The quality of the pictures is good. It resembles the picture quality on your phone pretty well. There appears to be just a slight quality difference, but it really won't make a huge difference. I don't see a yellow tint that a lot of people have mentioned. You can print either horizontally or vertically depending on the picture. Note that it takes time to print the photo, so please don't remove the photo until it's fully done printing. The app will tell you the print time in a loading bar, and the final photo will end up on the tray of the printer.
Here is my only issue: when I printed my final photo, it damaged the ink cartridge's glossy paper. I'm not sure if this is because of the low resolution of the picture I printed, or if it's just a simple error in the machine. The app will notify you if the photo's resolution is too low, but I decided to print it anyway. Maybe that's why it damaged it. Fortunately, it was the last photo, so the ink cartridge was empty anyway.
Overall, I am satisfied with this device and will continue to use it. I will update this review if anything happens to the printer.
Update - I ordered new ink and sheets, and it works fine. No problems have occurred yet, and I am satisfied with this printer.

Great Printer, Some Small Flaws

The printer is very easy to setup. All you need is Bluetooth on your phone and the HP Sprocket app. It comes with an adapter as the power source, 10 sheets, and 1 ink cartridge. The ink cartridge only prints 10 photos. You can purchase 2 ink cartridges and 80 sheets here on Amazon for $35 as of right now. (08/10/2021)By Lee on August 10, 2021
