Amazon Controller VS Official Sony Controller

This is a comparison of the one from this listing, and the one from the official site. The one on the right has packaging that feels solid, while the one on the left feels very flimsy. The one on the right has a PS4 Valid sticker on it, while the one on the left doesn’t. Can you guess which is which?The Amazon one comes with a manual, and USB charging cord, while the Playstation one does not come with a cord.In the hand, the Playstation one has substance, but the fake does not. The fake has printing on the controller that is more vague, while the official one is much sharper and aligned correctly.During use, the sticks of the fake don’t do anything until moved a considerable amount, while the official one works as it should.In summary, this listing is being supplied fake controllers, and if you want to be safe I’d just pay a little extra (for shipping) and buy this off of the official store.

First things first, ignore the packaging dust, those little shards of paper that you might see in these pictures. So, if you're looking for a controller to be exactly like the one that came with your PlayStation, you probably won't find that because the ones they send with PS4s PS5s are going to have a slightly different finish than replacement controllers I think. Next thing is that I did some research before buying a replacement PS4 controller and found that there are some sold on eBay that are not authentic even though they look authentic and they look like they are packaged very professionally but here are some things to look out for with those. The eBay controllers that claim they are Sony but are not, are going to be packaged so tightly that there will be casing around the joysticks. Sony does not do this, probably to prevent any damage before it even gets to you so they leave it solely inside the package along with the rest of the controller instead of doing that casing around the joysticks like the unauthentic eBay controllers do. Another thing to watch out for is to make sure the writing on the controller is not distorted or stretched because the false controller manufacturers don't have access to the specific font and size and other parameters that Sony uses to print on their controllers. You want to compare your old controller with your new controller. If you're old controller is broken, DO NOT THROW IT AWAY. You will need something to compare with and you might be able to get that old controller fixed now that you have the new one and then you'll have an additional controller. Another thing to look for is to make sure the Sony writing on the back where the light is is not also distorted and you want to make sure that all of the plug-in areas, like "EXT" and the initial insert in the back where you charge the controller are nice and sturdy as well as the headphone jack. This has a matte black finish whereas the original PS4 controller that came with my PS4 had or has, a slight gloss to it. Additionally the controllers should be at least near the same weight. This controller was a tad bit lighter but not enough really to say it was a problem It's just a teeny bit lighter and not a big deal because the important things here are that it is an authentic PS4 controller that does come in authentic PS4/Sony packaging and the writing is not distorted. The joysticks will feel differently than your original PS4 controller because again, this is not the original one that came with your PS4 It's a replacement. They give you those slight added special effects with your set because they want you to feel excited and enthusiastic and ready for gaming. The replacements are just exactly that, replacements. And buying this one, I did get this one for a few dollars less, not a bunch but a few. For all you Penny Pinchers out there this is going to be a dream. I think that matters as well. Other than that, this controller works just fine, and I am really relieved as this a major upgrade from my last one.
So yeah in 2022 for those you still have the old PS4 consoles, can purchase these and put some kontrolfreeks on like I have instead of purchasing an expensive pro controller,(and thats just totally my preference). Trust me if your gonna buy a pro controller might as well buy a PS5 instead.

Been using this controller for weeks. I tried using it as rough as I could to test its "full cababilities" as you could see in the picture. (mostly played Call of Duty BO2). If you are playing really hardcore, then the analog stick in a few weeks may become a little loose and you could almost stick it up and down, and the right pad buttons starts to become a little too deep inside the controller body so sometimes it may feel like its stuck for a few seconds while fast pressing it. However this does not affect gameplay at all as this is really negligible. In addition, people who are soft core gamer, might not face this problem at all.By Ulla Nurtaz on September 4, 2022

Antes de confirmar la compra tenía dudas de este control (PS4) de que resultará genérico, por lo tanto realice la comparación con el control que incluye con la ( PS4 ) sin encontrar ningún indicio de que resultará genérico, lo utilizo frecuentemente sin problema alguno ya que con el uso que a tenido no ha presentado problemas de comunicación, batería y controladores.
