The Spark Nano 7 is an excellent device for many reasons! I’ve never owned a GPS device like this before (aside from the find my iPhone app) and I was honestly a bit intimidated at the start. However, once I opened up the package, there were clear and concise instructions with images that explained all of the steps needed to use the device and to get started. After charging for the recommended time, I was able to get started on the app and website. I experienced slight issues getting my credentials to work in the app and website, however the IT department were extremely helpful with a chat feature so the issue could be properly resolved and in quick timing! Now to the device itself. It’s small, sleek, and very minimal with a panic button in the middle (really awesome feature). There are three different LED lights on the bottom right of the device that show you it is on, battery level, and tracking. The device is small enough to fit in my purse, or even a coat pocket. I was also (see pictured) about to put it in the glove compartment in my car to track my car location. It was discreet and could easily be hidden! This would honestly be perfect for tracking little children (a diaper bag) or even an elderly person that is suffering from Alzheimer’s or another cognitive illness.The app and website are absolutely amazing. The Brickhouse program allows you to track different trips and run reports. I was able to see my activity through the day and even the week by adjusting the report specifications. You can make the report as simple or detailed as you want. The maps show different views like street view vs. real view (see pictured) which can come in handy depending on the purpose you have for tracking it. I really like the panic button feature. It adds a measure of safety to the device and the person carrying the device. I will say that there is a learning curve to the website, however there are plenty of resources available and the chat feature with IT make it extremely user friendly should you have any questions. I honestly learned mostly by playing around in the software and testing out different reports.The subscription service itself is extremely affordable, especially for all of the capabilities that you can do with the reporting and tracking features and having the satellite tracking. The tracking is flawless and I never noticed a lag that was due to the service. Having the ability to use the app and the website make it perfect for anyone.Overall, this is an excellent product and I am extremely happy with it. You could honestly use it for more than one purpose. I tracked my car, my niece, my grandfather, and brought it to work once or twice to see how well it would work in a high rise. It’s extremely discreet and would be easy to use for anyone! I highly recommend it for anyone that wants a simple, affordable tracking device with an affordable subscription. It completes the job without extra bells and whistles that make it hard to use!
