The marketing photo of this surge protector used by Amazon and which is also on the APC website shows let through voltage ratings of 330V across the board. However, upon receipt of the product the voltage let through ratings is actually 400-500-500. I ordered five of these, and returned all five.

I bought this product unaware of two things. It has an incredibly bright green LED at night. I have bought it for my son's bedroom but of course it is way too bright. Even in the daytime the LED green light is noticeable. This should have been in the product description. Second was to return the product it does not go back to Amazon but to a vendor's address and the buyer (me) has to pay for return shipping. To return this item was $24.88 via Canada Post by the cheapest speed, so more than 50% of the actual value of the product. I also found out there is a 15% restocking charge from the vendor for another $7.50 (approximately) charged to me. Basically this item would cost $32.38 to the buyer?! Ridiculous and again this should be clearly indicated with the product. Needless to say there is no point in returning the power bar and I will check to be sure to never use this vendor again.

Caractéristiques : Les informations que je vous donne sont absentes du site du constructeur, du manuel et d'Amazon, il s'agit du VPR inscrit sur le produit lui-même.
Voltage Protection Rating = LN 330V LG 400V NG 400V. C'est le minimum requis pour avoir une bonne protection des appareils en cas de surtension même si les ordinateur et la télévision ont une protection de base contre la surtension (mais cette protection s'enclenchera largement passé 400 V pour un courant de AC120 V max).
3 étoiles, car je viens de le recevoir, je n'ai aucune idée de la durée de vie (car une fois le voyant vert éteint, le produit est bon pour la poubelle car la protection n'est plus assurée), ou des performances protectrices en cas de surtension.

If you want a nightlight that lights up a room, this is your powerboat. Be prepared to be distracted nonstop. Keeps us up at night so can’t put it in the bedroom. Distracts from movies so can’t use it in living room.Reviewed in Canada on May 29, 2022
